[802.3_DIALOG] IEEE P802.3dg 100 Mb/s Long-Reach Single Pair Ethernet initial Standards Association ballot results



Dear Colleagues,

The 1st Standards Association recirculation ballot on the Amendment IEEE P802.3dg 100 Mb/s Long-Reach Single Pair Ethernet closed successfully on 25 March 2026. The ballot exceeded the required 75% for consensus to approve the draft. The 1 April 2026 IEEE P802.3dg Task Force interim meeting <https://www.ieee802.org/3/calendar.html> will consider the 2 comments submitted. The availability of the comment database and proposed responses has been announced on the IEEE P802.3dg Task Force reflector.

The ballot statistics are:

 115 Voters
  92 Approve
   0 Disapprove 
   3 Abstain
  95 Ballots returned

  82% Response Rate (>= 75% required)
   3% Abstain Rate (< 30% required)
 100% Approval Rate (>= 75% required)
