When I post a provisional draft as the Technical Editor, I label it D2.2pre1, and the subsequent D2.2pre2, etc. The name goes in the headers in the document as well as the file name so it is clear that it is _not_ D2.2. Often we do this to fix obvious mistakes to reduce comments in subsequent ballots.
Just a suggestion. It is hard to review a non-existent document. Perhaps I just need to be faster.

PS: This is easy to do in Framemaker using variables. I would be happy to describe how this is done.

Once the call ended it had served its purpose.    Given it was incremental and not complete, I felt it better to remove it then to create any confusion going forward into the next comment recirculation ballot round. One lesson learned from doing this is that we had the editors + 1 on the call today; i.e. 3 people.  I will likely not try to do this in the future to avoid any potential confusion.
