Re: [802.3_MAINT] Phone meeting of the "Statistical Eye Ad Hoc" 9 am PT on Monday 30 June



Geoff,

It's an ad hoc of the IEEE P802.3ba Task Force.  I am copying the maintenance reflector because this ad hoc arises from comment 52 of http://ieee802.org/3/axay/comments/D2.0/802.3ay_D2p0.pdf (on page 17) and the associated presentation http://ieee802.org/3/axay/public/jan_08/dawe_1_0108.pdf .  The January maintenance meeting decided to refer the subject to P802.3ba because there is suitable fiber optics expertise (and interest, as it turns out) there to progress the issue.
