Colleagues, To-date we have received one new interpretation request
since the July plenary. It can be found at: http://www.ieee802.org/3/interp/interp-1-1110.pdf
Mr. Law has asked that this request be considered by the
Maintenance Task Force. As with any interpretation request, the Working Group
will have final say over the response. Since the request was received well in advance of the
September interim meeting of the Maintenance Task Force, there will be an
agenda item to discuss it when we meet in Portland to start developing a
response. Any progress made in September will be reviewed at the
Working Group opening session in November. There will also be an agenda item
during the November Maintenance Task Force meeting to review the progress and
discuss further if needed. Finally, as is our normal process, any response
developed in the Maintenance Task Force will be reviewed at the closing Working
