All: I am reduced to begging – could we get some presentations
for next week? There was quite a queue before the approval at the plenary
– have we gone to sleep since? I will have FLASH drives and CD-ROMs
to pass around but the level of discourse is always at least one notch lower
with material that had never be review. Given the lack of apparent work, and given past history, I
will be planning to meet from 9:00 to 5:00 Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Be
forewarned, this is not the usual 8:30 announcement that means we really start
at 9:00; I will start in at 9:00 exactly (my phone will be the official clock.)
Speaking of phones, the reading of the patent policy will take place
immediately following the first cell phone’s ring – it will be read
by the person whose phone rings. If there is a subsequent interruption I
will devise some other “prize” spontaneously. Please, there is no more time to delay, its time to get
