I have just received an update regarding the IEEE interim letting me know that we have not yet reached our meeting room quota and telling me that the booking cut off date has been extended.  Together, the latter news should allow us to fix the former.

 

Please book your rooms as soon as possible to help ensure that the IEEE does not end up running into meeting room penalties and to ensure that you have a convenient place to stay.  The San Marcos is billed as a truly great hotel and with the three day cancellation policy you can book now and still have a week to cancel should your plans change.  I really don’t want to hear that we got hit with meeting penalties and stories about how someone is staying cross town at a fleabag because they booked last minute – book now and cancel if you need to.

 

To book, visit the IEEE website (http://www.ieee802.org/3/interims/index.html).  The website includes links to the hotels and pertinent information about how to ensure that you are in the proper reservation block.  Please – BE SURE TO USE THE IEEE RESERVATION CODE (enter 000026202 in the 'Group/Event ID' box – leading zeros are required.)  We will be Tuesday, Jan 10, through Thursday Jan 12 from 8:30 to 5:00, plan accordingly.
