Suggested change to the 802.3af home page

I would like to suggest some changes to our 802.3af home page.  I am sending this note to the reflector, because I would like others to think about what information they want to see direcly pointed to on our home page for easily tracking our task force activities.

 

The present home page contains the following:

• IEEE P802.3af Approved Project Authorization Request.
• IEEE DTE Power via MDI Objectives.
• IEEE P802.3af 5 Criteria.

• IEEE P802.3af Requirements document.

• 802.3af search.
• 802.3af public area.
• 802.3af e-mail reflector archive.
• 802.3af comments received during balloting.
• 802.3af private area (password-protected).

• Subscribing and unsubscribing to the 802.3af e-mail reflector.

• DTE Power via MDI Study Group public archive area.

• The next meeting of this Task Force will be the IEEE P802 November Plenary meeting.

 

 

Additional pointers and information I would like to see on there include:

• Test method matrix for the Discovery Method
• Selection criteria matrix for the Discovery Method
• Schedule for 802.3af (Timeline Chart)
• The technical Issues matrix with responsibility and dates for closure.
• Important announcements (without requireing hypertext links, like a ballot is open and will close on ??/??/??).
• A What's New section with a list of files that have been recently posted or changed (such as meeting minutes for the interim meeting, and new documents posted to the "public area" for between meeting documents.

I invite others to suggest additons (or modifications) to this list.
