May Interim Meeting in St. Louis of 802.3af
Colleagues:
Today is the one-week deadline for scheduling presentation time at our
meeting. Presentations should address the goals of providing input to the
draft, and a re-examination of detection of PD disconnection in light of the
issues addressed by Geoff Thompson in his earlier e-mail.
Please send the following no later than close of business today:
i. The presenter's name
ii. The presentation title
iii. The estimated time required
iv. A brief synopsis of the material (a couple of sentences)
Please send the PDF copy myself and to David Law for posting in the May 2001
Interim materials section of our Web site.
The ad hocs are scheduled to meet on Tuesday and Wednesday morning if
required. Our meeting will start at 12:00 on Wednesday. It is expected that
both ad hocs will generate presentations. Document distribution will be done
electronically at the meeting. No paper copies are required.
I would like to remind everyone once again a discussion of the merits (or
lack thereof) of a patent is not appropriate for our meetings or this
reflector. If you have questions about this policy, please direct a private
e-mail to myself or Geoff Thompson.
I look forward to seeing you all in St. Louis!
Regards,
Steve
