Tuesday 13th January is set aside for discussion of 802.1Q, and what work the 802.5 committee must do to allow source route forwarding of VLAN tagged frames. This work was agreed at a tele-conference on 3rd December 1997. No HSTR StrawMan work will be carried out on this day.
On Wednesday to Friday, the main item for discussion will be the resolution of comments on the Strawman draft 0.5 for the standard for 100Mbit/s token ring over 2- or 4-pair copper cabling.
