If any of you wish to take a few days off and enjoy the beautiful spring in Copenhagen, we can extend your booking period and keep the low rate obtained. However, please be aware that May 13 is a national holiday in Denmark and most shops are therefore closed.

Booking

To book the hotel, please get in touch with Pernille Tegner at Olicom (email:pet@olicom.dk, tel: +45 45 27 01 31) by April 8, 1999, with details of what nights you want to stay at the hotel. Pernille will make the reservations directly with the hotel. This will also help with setting up the daily transportation to and from the meeting.

Meeting arrangements

The meeting will take place at Olicom, which is a few miles outside of Copenhagen. Transportation will be arranged by Pernille to and from the hotel.

Lunch will be served at Olicom every day during the meeting. Further, Olicom are arranging a dinner out in town on Tuesday night (May 11), preferably in the Tivoli Gardens, which in May blooms with hundreds and thousands of tulips.

Links about Copenhagen

Downtown Copenhagen has an abundance of restaurants, cafes, bars, shops and historical sites. A comfortable way to get around in the city is to use the free bicycles available all over and which requires only a DKK 10.- deposit for as many hours as you like. And remember, the Danish Prime Minister recently gave Bill Clinton a City-bike, so you will be in good company!
