I would like to request the review of the following draft IEEE 802 LMSC submission before asking the LMSC to consider approval of the submission tentatively via a 10-day letter ballot
On 28 May 2025, Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) began a consultation that seeks public opinions on its proposal of the microwave spectrum assignment in 6 GHz (lower), 7 GHz, 13 GHz, 15 GHz, 18 GHz, 21 GHz Bands, E-Band, and V-Band. Of possible interest to us are the questions that the administrator asks regarding the license-exempt usage in the 6 GHz and 60 GHz bands.
A few individuals prepared a detailed response that provides the administration with inputs for questions related to both frequency bands The submission was approved by IEEE 802.18 on 19 June 2025 with the following voting results: 8 Yes, 0 No, 1 Abstain. Please kindly review the draft and let me know if you have any comments or suggestions preferably no later than Tuesday, 24 June 2025.
