[LinkSec] RE: [802.1] Fwd: Require Help in Resolving 802.1s issues





I believe as part of the 802.1Q revision we should be putting together an
Annex Z, similar to the one we used in the 802.1D/.1y revision. This would
list and update a list of problems that the revision was trying to solve.
Paul Doiamond has already sent out a few notes on this subject and has
tested some suggestions.

This suggestion doesn't give a quick turnaround for responses, but I am
afraid that is the best anyone can expect when relying on the voluntary
efforts of others. I for one have a large load of 802.1 work at the moment,
on projects prior to the 802.1Q revision approval.
