I was unaware that neither of them would be there or participating until a couple days ago when it was brought to my attention and Christy asked if I would like to have them at our WG15 Sub Group Tech Editors meeting, which I thought was a good idea. I don't expect they'll be needed for any other slots, but at most less than a handful in total, but I wanted a CYA so that we don't have problems to deal with after the fact. I'm open to your suggestions/guidance on how to best pursue/resolve this with a favorable outcome for all. BR,

On Thu, Nov 7, 2024 at 6:00 PM, Jon Rosdahl We have not done general waivers for the IEEE staff in the past. We have had the Editors join the Editors Meeting (Tues 7am local time) with a waiver for that meeting (Technical Expert waiver). The IEEE Editor Staff support all the 802 WGs, and having 802.15 change the requested waiver type is unprecedented.
