Re: [802.19] Liaison request originating from WG16 in March

Roger, Bruce and Bob,

I have set up an email list to discuss co-located coexistence topics, as discussed at the May interim meeting.

The email list name is stds-802-19-colocate@ieee.org

You can subscribe to the list using the IEEE Listserv at http://listserv.ieee.org/cgi-bin/wa?HOME

The emails will be archived at http://grouper.ieee.org/groups/802/19/arc/stds-802-19colocate/

Please forward this email to your respective WGs.  As people start to join we can use this list for discussion and also schedule any conference calls as needed.

Thanks,

Steve

Thanks, Bruce (and Bob and Steve). This looks great.

I think that you have given me an action item ("Please let us know when the details on the e-mail list are available.") But I understand that Steve has already started setting this up, so I'm happy to pass that action along to him.

My tendency is to let the discussion develop and see what happens. However, we will need to make a few decisions fairly soon; for example, Steve needs to know whether to allocate agenda time for this in July. I think that would be good. Maybe a couple of hours on Tuesday or Wednesday?

Roger,

WG11 and WG15 met in Jacksonville during the week of May 12 and generated the attached liaison response to the request you issued in March. Each WG approved the letter in their closing plenary.

After you have read the letter, please let me know how you want to proceed.

Bruce Kraemer
