Hi Alfred, Thank you so much for your great effort on leading this group. I expected the ad-hoc meeting would be canceled based on IEEE 802 EC’s decision for the F2F plenary meeting. But without any discussion in the group that decides to keep ad-hoc meeting (If I missed something, please correct me) while the decision for planning this meeting was discussed and decided together in the group, and without no particular change on situation under which the 802 EC canceled the meeting, I’m not sure if this is the best way to go with since there will be inconvenience expected with such as running e-polls and kind of unfairness for members who are not capable of attending by F2F, safety as well on top of them. If the group want to have a progress (I totally understand and agree we need to accelerate the discussion), at least it would be good to open and discuss the item together. On any decision with those procedure, I guess everyone will gladly support it. Thanks again for your devoted effort and please kindly let me know your opinion. Please also note that while attendance in person is still possible, it is strongly advisable to dial-in via the teleconference facilities being provided (please refer to the agenda), due to the travel restrictions and health recommendations at company/government levels. For this particular event, and for future conferences we may need to run SPs via e-polls so that we can make some progress.
