Hi all, I think there may be an error for the resolution of CID #2222 in revmd D4.0. The approved changes in 1443r2 is the following. At 158.5, change the definition of association in clause 3.1 from “The service used to establish access point/station (AP/STA) mapping ...” to “The service
used to establish a mapping between an access point (AP) or personal basic service set (PBSS) control point (PCP), and a station (STA) ...”. However, in revmd D4.0, we only have the following.

(#2222)The service used to establish an access point (AP) or personal basic service set (PBSS) We can see that “a mapping between” is missing. I think this is probably an error and I am checking with the editor in revmd to figure this out. I assume that we can make change later when we figure this out.

Hi Po-kai, As we discussed in yesterday’s call, it will be good to have a definition for MLD association similar to what we have for association: association:
(#2222)The service used to establish an access point (AP) or personal basic service set (PBSS) control point (PCP), and a station (STA) and enable STA invocation of the distribution system services (DSSs). [RR] This definition as written is seriously dysfunctional on several counts. It needs attention! Please do NOT use this as a template for MLD association.
