Can’t dot11NSTRSoftAPMLDActivated be expressed like
(dot11SoftAPMLDActivated set to true) * (dot11StrMld set to false)?
I think a non-STR soft AP is a subset of soft APs.
And I feel strange to express non-STR capability being activated. It’s not intentional, but it’s being like that as a result.
Furthermore, shouldn’t the relation between the links be focused rather than the device?
I haven’t sorted out my mind yet, but something like, a MLD (potentially?) having at least one pair of links in non-STR and acting as an soft AP will

Hi Zhiqiang, Good question! Even though an AP MLD might be is in the same physical device as a non-AP MLD and share the same RF chains, but it might not be capable
or activated as a soft AP MLD. Since it is hard to define the soft AP MLD based on its functionality, we tried to define it based on its capability. Here is another example in baseline spec: fast initial link setup (FILS) station (STA): A station that implements fast initial link setup (FILS) and for which dot11FILSActivated

Hi, Kaiying, Thanks for initiating the discussion. I have a question about the definition. Why to use dot11SoftAPMLDActivated and dot11NSTRSoftAPMLDActivated to describe the definition?
