Hi Steve, I also agree with Dongguk and Rui that we should keep the same tone indices as HE/EHT. It is too late to change the tone plans.
Thanks, Jianhan From: Durui(Ray, WT Lab) <000017788cb650b9-dmarc-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>
Hi Steve, I agree with Dongguk that 11bf should use the same tone indices with HE/EHT, which will reduce the standard complexity. The uniform spacing tones also can be calculated from current HE/EHT tones. This topic has been discussed during 2024 March Plenary meeting and many group members voted N. Based on my understanding, no progress has been made for this topic in last a few months.
So, I also suggest to reject corresponding CIDs, thanks. From: Dongguk Lim <dongguk.lim@xxxxxxx>
Hi Steve,
This tone index indicates which tone information is feedbacked when sensing measurement
is done. so, I don't know why this tone index has a problem in the aspect of the RF side. It is already defined in 11be.
and, by using the defined tone index, we don't need to define the new tone index and
it means we can reduce the complexity. also, we can consider the EHT STA easily supports the sensing measurement without many
changes if it has a sensing capability. Best regards, Dongguk.

Dongguk, Thanks for providing you input since you cannot attend the meeting. What would be the technical reason for rejecting the comment? Regards, Steve From: Dongguk Lim <dongguk.lim@xxxxxxx>
WARNING:
This email originated from outside of Qualcomm. Please be wary of any links or attachments, and do not enable macros. Hi Steve, Thanks for your effort to resolve the comments. I cannot attend the Thursday AM2 slot of TGbf because this slot overlaps with 11bn,
so I send an email to you I have one comment for your CR document about Tone spacing.
I remember that we discussed this issue in the previous meeting and many members want
to keep the tone index defined in 11be. I also would like to keep the tone index defined in 11be. as you proposed, if it is a critical issue, first we should change the tone index defined
in 11be. therefore, I suggest that this comment should be rejected.
Thanks,
Best regards, Dongguk From: Steve Shellhammer [mailto:00002a5699263b15-dmarc-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx]
