IEEE 802.11(TM) Comment Collection 9 To: IEEE 802.11 Voters, Updated: new closing date is Friday 2013-06-14. The closing date has been extended because the notice giving a link to the CC8 instructions was removed from the 802.11 home page prematurely. As the TGah telecon is scheduled
for the 19th, the TGah chair has extended the comment collection period. With this email, the 802.11 Working Group is officially beginning WG Comments Comment Collection 9 (CC9), which is a Comment Collection on the question "Please provide comments
on Draft P802.11ah D0.1". This Comment Collection opens Mon May 20, 2013 at 23:59 Eastern Time USA (11:59PM) and will close 20 days later on Friday Jun 14, 2013 at 23:59 Eastern Time USA (11:59pm). All
necessary documents are available in the instructions that can be found on the IEEE 802.11 web site at http://www.ieee802.org/11/LetterBallots/CC9ah/CC9_instructions.html. NOTE - we have recently changed to using the IEEE-SA's ePoll application to support WG Comment Collections. Please read the instructions (http://www.ieee802.org/11/LetterBallots/CC9ah/CC9_instructions.html) at least once, as many of the details of how to interact with the tool have
changed. Important: o This is a 20-day comments collection period. o Anybody who has access to the draft may provide comments. o You need to vote in order to provide comments, but what you vote does not matter (i.e., has no effect). o If you are an 802.11 voter, this comments collection will have no effect on your 802.11 membership, regardless of whether you respond or not. o You must follow these instructions to provide comments. Do not send an email to provide comemnts. o Providing comments by any method other than the web-based process described here will result in your comments being discarded.
o The draft is password protected in accordance with IEEE 802 Policies and Procedures. To obtain the draft, use the username and the password supplied to active members
for the 802.11 WG private area. (The attached file contains a reminder set for 5 days before the close of the ballot. You may find it helpful to import this into or open this with your calendar client in order
to get an automated reminder.) Thank you for participating in Comment Collection 9. Bruce Kraemer, IEEE 802.11 Working Group Chair E-mail: bkraemer@xxxxxxxxxxx
Adrian Stephens, IEEE 802.11 Working Group Vice Chair / Balloting Coordinator E-mail: Adrian.P.Stephens@xxxxxxxxx David HALASZ, IEEE 802.11 TGah Chair E-mail: dave.halasz@xxxxxxxx If you wish to be removed from this reflector, do not send your request to this reflector - it will have no effect. Instead, go to http://listserv.ieee.org/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=STDS-802-11 and then press the LEAVE button. If there is no LEAVE button here, try http://listserv.ieee.org/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=STDS-802-11-RO.
