Dear Mark and All: I would like to nominate myself for the position of Architecture Standing Committee Vice Chair (ARC SC VC). My 802.11 background: · I became active and involved in 802.11 in 2003. · I was an active participate in 802.11n from its inception in September 2003 through its completion in September 2009 and served as the 802.11n General ad-hoc lead. · I was an original participate in the ARC SC at the May 2008 meeting and I have attended ARC SC meetings regularly except during a brief hiatus when I didn’t attend 802.11 (after the completion of 802.11n till my return in November of 2011). · I have been supportive of the work and activities of the ARC SC. We’d like to express a big “Thank you” to Dave Bagby for his years of service to 802.11 and the ARC SC, as he moves on to bigger and better things. The nominations period for a Vice Chair will open immediately and will close during the ARC session at the November meeting (presumably, Wednesday AM1). Nominations are to be sent to the ARC e-mail reflector or to the WG reflector. Self-nominations are welcome. The vote for Vice Chair is scheduled for the ARC session in November. Thanks.
