[STDS-802-11] Motion on TUE AM2 - Member draft submission for the European Commission's call for evidence on WRC-23 - EU position

Dear 802.18 members,
cc 802.11 and 802.15 members,

Two of our active members prepared a draft submission that they would like IEEE 802 to submit to European Commission's call for evidence on WRC-23 - EU position (see the email below for the consultation).   The member's draft submission is available at:

In case you may not be available to attend our 802.18 meeting (either in person at Salon 2, Level 2, the meeting hotel or Webex) at 10:30am ET on Tuesday, 12 July 2022, I would encourage you to review the draft submission and provides our members' advanced comments today or prior to the meeting for consideration.

In addition to the European Commission RSPG's consultation on WRC-23 that is due on 12 August 2022, the European Commission has recently begun a separate consultation that call for evidences on WRC-23 - EU position.  For details, please visit:

The comment closing date is 26 July 2022.  If you would like the IEEE 802 EC to submit a comment, the internal 802.18 deadline to review and consider approval of the proposed comment is Tuesday, 12 July 2022 - specially at the beginning of the Tuesday AM2 meeting in the July 2022 IEEE 802 plenary.

The European Commission RSPG (Radio Spectrum Policy Group) has recently begun a public consultation that seeks public opinion on its view on various WRC-23 agenda items, including Agenda Item 1.2 that covers the upper 6 GHz band that you may be interested in.
