On 30 June 2023, Japan MIC began a consultation that asked for public opinion on its proposed update on technical standards and test methods for wireless LAN, Bluetooth, and other unlicensed devices operating at the 2.4 GHz band.

The comment submission deadline is Monday, 31 July 2023.  If you would like IEEE 802 LMSC to prepare a response and submit it to the administration, please bring a contribution to IEEE 802.18 for review no later than 8:00 CEST, Thursday, 13 July 2023 (which is our second meeting slot of the 2023 July plenary).
