OFDM downlink frame prefix
Dear All,
during the last meeting (session #29 in Vancouver) a new structure of
the OFDM downlink frame prefix has been accepted. Within this new prefix
(table 198 on page 425) one can now indicate a midamble during an
OFDM-DL burst. But up to now a midamble has not been specified for OFDM,
the only midamble present is defined for the OFDMA PHY mode. The regular
OFDM DL-MAP IE only contains an entry for a preamble.
Thus, instead of a midamble this bit could be used to indicate a
DL-burst preamble. Alternatively the entry could be removed.
But maybe I missed something? Perhaps someone can comment an that issue.
