802.16f ("Management Information Base") was approved today by
the IEEE-SA Standards Board. As a result, IEEE Std
802.16-2004 is now considered to be amended by the new IEEE
Std 802.16f.

I'll forward the formal notice when I receive it.

Congratulations to the participants, the Working Group, and
the NetMan Task Group, especially Chair Phil Barber and
Editor Joey Chou.

At this week's SASB meetings the following projects were
          
approved: 802.3at, 802.3-2005/Cor1, 802.1AR, 802.1aq, 802.1ap
and the following standards were approved: 802.11e and
802.16f.  Congratulations.
