[STDS-802-16] new WirelessMAN Interactive Calendar
I have set up a new WirelessMAN Interactive Calendar to track our
various scheduled events:
-sessions
-meeting schedules during sessions
-project deadlines and milestones
The web interface:
http://calendar.wirelessman.org
is interactive; you can view by month, week, or day, and you can scan
to any date.
You can use a modified URL to force the calendar to pop up in a
particular view; for example, this one is appropriate to Session #43:
http://calendar.wirelessman.org/week.php?date=20060508
You can click on any event to get more details, including the option
to download a record of the event in several formats, for importing
into your personal calendar.
You can also download the entire calendar content as an iCal (ics) file at:
http://dot16.org/calendar/publish.php/WirelessMAN.ics
If your iCal-format calendar is configured to subscribe to public
calendars on the web, you can subscribe to:
http://dot16.org/calendar/publish.php?user=WirelessMAN
and thereby transfer the entire record into your personal calendar.
I've have loaded into the calendar:
-future sessions
-the meeting schedule for Session #43
-upcoming deadlines
I've color-coded the entries by Task Group.
I'll try to find time to write up a web page describing some of these
instructions.
