Just FYI:
For this same purpose (i.e., to denote "routing(?)" at Layer 2), the term of "Path Selection" is used in the current 802.11s draft specs.

This is an interesting point. I believe "routing" refers to the layer 3 operation. Perhaps we can consider "path management" to refer to how a MMR-BS discovers and uses communication paths to a RS.
