Dear Ad hoc participants, I’m forwarding Gamini’s email
to the group. I’ve uploaded his proposed input to the following location:
http://dot16.org/CSUpload//upload/temp_db/C80216j%2d06_UMAHtemp_Summary_section.doc. I think that Gamini’s suggestions
make sense and agree that we should use them in the document. I’ll add
this to the agenda for the meeting. Regards, Jerry Sydir From: Gamini Senarath
[mailto:gamini@nortel.com] Hi Jerry, I have some suggestions for the Summary
section. I have included the proposed changes to that table in the attached
document. Please send it to the group. Thanks.. The changes are listed below: (1) I think we should add a column called
"Use Case Examples". This would include all the discussed use cases
so that it would direct any reader to understand the specific
modeling requirements such as different propagation and user distribution
modeling, and understand most of the situations at once. (2) I think the columns which contained
the same for all the user cases can be taken out and mention as a note (see
Notes (1) and (2). this would help clean up the table. (3) I think the comments on Complexity
should not be there. It gives the impression that only complex solutions are
allowed for, for example, Mobile Vehicle usage scenario. ). (4) We have not specifically
address, "Coverage Inside Tunnels", in the document, other than
covering the scenario when a train goes through a tunnel. (Fore example,
when a vehicle without a relay undergo a tunnel). I think we should
include it. Due to its similarities with the in-building case, it may
be included under "In-bulding" usage model (we can perhaps change
the name to In-building/Tunnels?). Regards, Gamini |
