Dear all,

This is an announcement by the Relay TG ad-hoc groups.

The chair of Relay TG has authorized the ad-hoc groups to facilitate resolution of the deferred comments/contributions between the session #48 and session #49 (see IEEE 802.16j-07/011r3), being tasked to provide recommended resolutions for consideration by the TG at session #49. The following is the information of the ad-hoc groups:

The detail classification of each deferred comment/contribution please refers to IEEE 802.16j-07/011r3.

There are three important dates of the Relay TG ad-hoc groups before the session #49:

(1)   2007/4/6: Deadline for new contributions to be considered as part of the ad-hoc group discussion. New contributions shall be categorized into the appropriate topic and be submitted to the corresponding ad-hoc group chair before this date in order to be considered as part of the ad-hoc recommendation at session #49.

(2)   2007/4/23: Planned Relay TG call for comment deadline. Each ad-hoc group chair will upload any new comments and harmonized contributions that form part of their recommendation to the Relay TG by the call for comment deadline.

(3)   Session #49: Ad-hoc chairs will report to the TG their recommended resolutions for the deferred comments and contributions assigned to them.

Each ad-hoc chair will shortly advertise the co-ordinates of any planned meetings through the IEEE 802.16WG reflector and an invite for participants to join the ad-hoc. If you wish to participate in the ad-hoc discussions and any associated meetings, you are encouraged to contact the appropriate chair in advance to give them an idea of the number of interested participants and their time zone locations.

Through the ad-hoc meetings, each group will review the tasked comments and new ones submitted by the deadline, if any, so as to identify their common issues overlapping each other and provide proposed resolutions including harmonization among them, in similar way as done at the #48 session. The minutes of each ad-hoc meeting will be reported by the ad-hoc chair through the reflector.

If you have any questions, then please do not hesitate to contact the appropriate chair.

Best Regards,

I-Kang
