Re: [STDS-802-16] IETF 16NG Document Review Ad Hoc Meeting Announcement.

Your comment is well noted. I’ll switch to the 6am PT time.

The dial in numbers are:

916-356-2663, 8-356-2663, Bridge: 1, Passcode: 1583428

The duration is 1 hour.

That time of the call is:

1.00am Friday 5th, UTC

6.00am Friday 5th, Pacific Coast US

9.00am Friday 5th, East Coast US

2.00pm Friday 5th, London

3.00pm Friday 5th, Malaga, Paris, Berlin

4.00pm Friday 5th, Helsinki

9.00pm Friday 5th, Beijing, Hong Kong

10.00pm Friday 5th, Tokyo

More times given at..

http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/fixedtime.html?month=10&day=5&year=2007&hour=6&min=0&sec=0&p1=137

It’s inconvenient for New Zealand, Australia and really bad for any members on the island of Kiribati.

DJ,

The proposed schedule is extremely inconvenient in Europe. London: 2am, Paris, Berlin 3am and Helsinki 4am. Due to daylight saving time London is currently 1 hour earlier than UTC.

I would appreciate when you would choose one of the established geo rotations of the WiMAX Forum, aka 6am PT, 1pm PT or 8:30pm PT. Neither is really comfortable for all parts of the world, but all are much better than the schedule you proposed.

What location do you refer to with Friday, October 5th: West Coast US or Europe/Asia?

Bye

Max

I propose that the first meeting of the IETF 16NG Document Review ad hoc, approved at the closing plenary in Malaga take place by conference call on Friday 5th October, 2007.

Finding a convenient time for everyone is impossible. I propose that it takes place at 1.00am UTC.

That is

6.00pm West Coast US

            1.00am London

            10.00am Tokyo

            9.00pm East Coast US

            6.00am Delhi.

I will announce dial in numbers shortly. If there is a compelling reason to move the time or date, please let me know asap.
