The electronic ballot officially opened on:
        Wednesday, 8 August 2001
and closes on:
Saturday, 8 September 2001 at 12:00 midnight Pacific Coast time.

A copy of the draft (RPR_TD_01Jul11.pdf) can be found at the following
website (URL):

    http://www.ieee802.org/17/documents/drafts/RPR_TD_01Jul11.pdf

The draft is posted in Adobe "pdf" document format and can be viewed
online, or, preferably downloaded and printed if desired.
This draft is copyrighted by the IEEE and is for your review for
balloting purposes only. It should not be copied or otherwise distributed.
In the future it will be posted in the members only section of the 802.17
web site.

You will need a copy of Adobe's Acrobat Reader (v4 or higher) to view or
print the draft. V5 is now available for free downloading from Adobe at:

    http://www.adobe.com/prodindex/acrobat/readstep.html

Also included in this directory you will find this set of balloting
instructions and comment procedures at the following URL:

    http://www.ieee802.org/17/documents/drafts/Ballot_instr.txt

In the future we hope to establish procedures for online voting either via
web access, or via a downloadable tool such as Access or Filemaker.
For this initial vote, however, ASCII ballots/comments will be the only
method employed for ballot/comment collection. A database will be used
for collating these into reports used in the comment resolution process.

An ASCII ballot/comment form for use with e-mail is appended to the end
of this message. Sending your ballot in ASCII format will be a significant help
in compiling the comments.  To be sure your email software sends in ASCII
format please see if there is a "format" header associated with your outgoing
email notes.  If there is, then please select that button and choose "plain text"
or the equivalent for your ballot.

Please submit ballots/comments in ACII format via email to:

        jhawkins@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx and bob.sultan@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
