Re: [RPRWG] Austin Meeting Details / Process
People,
While I fully support the concept of people working together to
come to consensus I have to act in my role as chair as the
guardian of process and guide for the group.
The WG has not voted to form these groups, nor has the scope /
process and objectives by which the groups will operate
been debated or agreed to.
Until the WG can provide guidance to these adhocs, and until
the WG has seen all of the proposals and attempted to reach
compromise on a single baseline proposal I am concerned that
these ad-hocs will not help drive consensus, but further polarize
the WG.
There was time placed on the agenda (tuesday afternoon)
for the discussion of forming these groups following the
presentation and voting of proposals. I believe we should
stick to this plan moving forward.
