In 802.17 draft, there is a problem about MCF, please see the attached file MCF_problem.ppt. Node S1 send a MCF with TTL equal 255 in outer ring, after wrap from node S3 to the inner ring, its TTL equal 253. If the ring is switch to normal before the MCF wrap from node S4 to outer ring, then the MCF with TTL equal 253 will run in the inner ring forever. Please tell me how to fix this
problem?
