RE: Meeting Plans for January 802.19 Session

Jerry,

Having an evening meeting time is a good idea.  Hopefully, that will make it easier for people to attend.

My first inclination is to just have one evening time slot (on Monday).  What do others think about that?

Steve

Steve,

To allow for better attendance from all Working Groups, I suggest you schedule an evening meeting slot on Monday from 7-9PM. Study groups in the past have successfully done evening time slots. You may also want to consider a Tuesday evening time slot. Given this study group crosses many working groups, it should be scheduled more like the way we schedule tutorials.

Jerry Upton

All,

I need to give F2F our meeting requirements for the January 802.19 session.  We need time for the TAG to meet and also for the Study Group to meet.

I would suggest the following meeting times.  Please send me your comments.

Monday            4 – 6 PM                   Study Group

Tuesday            8 AM – 12:30 PM      Study Group

Tuesday            1:30 – 6:00 PM         TAG

This gives us three two-hour meetings for the study group to meet to finalize the PAR and 5C.  This gives the other working groups a time when they can come in and give us feedback.  We would likely finish in less time but I thought I should include enough time for discussion.  This also gives us time for two two-hour meeting of the TAG to hear technical contributions.

            Thoughts?

Steve
