[8023-10GEPON] [ad hoc on channel link model] Call for participation
Dear all,
I would like to remind You that the ad hoc on channel link model is still active and we have a number of issues to work on, including SBS model implementation, reaching consensus on the way to progress with the SRS modulation and complete the development of a separate Excel spreadsheet dealing with the non linear effects in the 10G EPON system with the optional additional service in the 1550 nm window.
Since the first period of the activity of the said ad hoc was taunted by low participation ratio, I would like to request for more active participation, especially from people who have experience with the analog video overlay in 1 G EPON systems. We need confirmation that the models we are building are realistic and represent the real observed phenomena.
Most of the discussion on the ad hoc issues is kept between the participants so as to avoid generating high traffic volume on the main reflector. If You are interested in the proceedings, please let me know and I will include You in our mailing list.
