Test development support for 10Gbe from community
Historically, test has dominated the cost and scaleability of other
high-speed systems (e.g. SONET, WDM, etc.) when it comes to manufacturing.
I've seen 36 week delivery times on BERT products that cost >$100,000 which
can stifle introduction in volume.
Are there people in this same community interested in the test development
side of chips, components and systems and is this also important enough to
discuss in this forum? Are there other forums this community would prefer
to take this to?
