[802.3_B10GAUTO] Meeting credit and potential voters-November IEEE 802.3 plenary
Colleagues,
This is a reminder of the IEEE 802.3 opening plenary teleconference on
Monday, 9 November. Call information is on the 802.3 Calendar,
https://www.ieee802.org/3/calendar.html. Attendance at 802.3 meetings is an
important part of gaining or retaining voting membership.
To become an 802.3 voting member, you need to request to become a voting
member during that agenda item during an 802.3 WG meeting. Please check the
potential voter list at
https://ieee802.org/3/minutes/nov20/1120_potential.pdf . If your name is on
the list, you will need to be on the 9 November call and respond when the
potential voter list is displayed. This occurs relatively soon after the
start of the meeting. You only other chance will be at the closing IEEE
802.3 WG meeting on 19 November. The potential voter list was recently
updated, so if you are unsure of your status please take this opportunity to
check.

As a reminder, attendance credit toward membership requires at least 75%
attendance during the plenary session. As a result, you will need to record
attendance at a meeting on at least six of the eight meeting days of the
November 2020 IEEE 802.3 plenary session, independent of how long a subgroup
might be meeting.
