IEEE P802.3.1 (IEEE 802.3.1b) Ethernet SMIv2 Data Model Definitions (revision) initial Standards Association ballot results

Dear colleagues, 

Please see below the IEEE SA ballot statistics for D3.0. 

Please be on the lookout for the announcement of an interim meeting to
resolve all 99 received comments. The number is pretty high, but a lot of
them touch on a single topic only, i.e., keywords in IEEE Style Manual.

Dear Colleagues,
The initial Standards Association ballot of IEEE P802.3.1 (IEEE 802.3.1b)
Ethernet SMIv2 Data Model Definitions (revision) closed successfully on 30th
July 2024. The ballot exceeded the required 75% for consensus to approve the
draft. The IEEE P802.3.1 (IEEE 802.3.1b) Task Force interim meeting to
consider the 99 comments submitted will be announced on the IEEE P802.3.1
(IEEE 802.3.1b) Task Force reflector and added to the IEEE 802.3 Call and
Meeting Calendar <https://ieee802.org/3/calendar.html>.

The ballot statistics are:

  88 Voters
  61 Approve
   1 Disapprove 
   7 Abstain
  69 Ballots returned

  78% Response Rate (>= 75% required)
  10% Abstain Rate (< 30% required)
  98% Approval Rate (>= 75% required)
