Re: [802SEC] Schedule presentation on LTE-U at July Plenary session

Hello Steve and all,

From 802.11’s point of view,  Tue pm2 would be the best choice.

I don’t know if Andrew’s JTC1 can be moved,  I’ll find out if it can.  That

may take a couple of days.

Best Regards,

Andrew,

I guess we have a few options.

1.       See if Adrian could move the JTC1 SC meeting to a different time

2.       See if the LTE-U speaker can present on Thursday, and then find a room/time on Thursday

Let’s see what Adrian says about #1 first, and if that does not work I will pursue #2.

No Worries Mate (that Australian, correct?),

G’day Steve

I am not thrilled with Tue PM1 because that slot is scheduled for IEEE JTC1 SC (I am chair)

All,

Based on checking with Darcel we can get a room for 50 people on Tuesday PM1.  The choice on Wednesday is AM2, which will not work.

If I do not hear any major objection we will go with Tuesday PM1.

Steve,

Based on our discussion in Vancouver, I don't think 802.24 is going to have any immediate involvement in LAA or LTE-U.  However it is a topics that is broadly relevant, and I am personally interested.  If possible, I would appreciate it if the LTE-U meeting could be scheduled at a time other than PM2 on Tuesday or Wednesday.

Thanks,
Tim.

WG Chairs,

I have a person who is interested in giving a presentation on LTE-U at the July Plenary session.

I would like to see if we can find a time which works for the people who are interested in attending, and also at a time when we can get a room of sufficient size.

The speaker?s preference is either Tuesday or Wednesday, which I think we can work with.

For those of you who are WG chairs who expect your members would like to attend, please tell me which time slots (e.g. AM1, etc.) work for your WG on Tuesday and Wednesday, and which do not.  From there we will select a good time.

Dawn and Lisa,

I would expect we would need a room for 50 to 60 people, so this would be different than the room we are sharing with 802.21.  Please tell me which time slots look feasible for Tuesday and Wednesday. (I left you each a voicemail on this topic).

Thanks,
Steve
