[STDS-802-16] results of 802.16 motions at 802 EC meeting
All of 802.16's motions at today's 802 EC meeting were approved. The
results are summarized here:

As expected, the 802.16f and 802.16g PARs will be on the NesCom
Continuous Processing agenda and will be eligible for approval by 12
August.
However, the EC voted to remove the 802.16e PAR from the Continuous
Processing agenda. It will be deferred to the NesCom meeting of 22
September, after which it could be approved at the IEEE-SA Standards
Board meeting on 23 September at IEEE offices in Piscataway, NJ, USA.
The decision to defer submittal was made based on a separate motion
after approval of forwarding the PAR. The vote on the deferral motion
was originally a tie, with the Chair casting the deciding vote in
favor.
The 802.16h PAR has not yet been submitted to NesCom. It will be
submitted for the 22 September session.
In other news of interest, the PAR for 802.22 activity was approved
by vote of 7-5-3.
