In current 802.16 2004 spec,
page 144 line 50 says “When the BS receives an incremental Bandwidth Request, it shall
add the quantity of bandwidth requested to its current perception of the
bandwidth needs of the connection”. How should I understand “perception of the
bandwidth needs of the connection” ? It is the same value with requested
bandwidth by last BW request message of the connection from MSS? Furthermore, such a thing is
a corrigenda item? Thanks, Jung Je Son, PH.D. What Do You Want To Be?

either. It merely shows that CID must have a common QoS Parameter Set, which
makes sense since bandwidth requests are made based on CID, not SFID. Provided that the object model

Connection can be linked to 1 and only 1 Service Flow (specified by the little
1 in the left shadow of the Service Flow box). SEQUANS Communications 101-103 Bd McDonald, 75019 Paris +33 (0)1 4489 4826 Tel. +33 (0)1 4489 4806 Fax +33 (0)6 6063 5720 Cell joel@sequans.com www.sequans.com
