Mike,

It's fairly easy to spoof mail from any address (real or otherwise). But, 1)
I doubt we really need to worry about this, and 2) the receiver of the votes
could very easily send a mail message back to the purported sender telling
them what was received from them (thereby confirming their vote or alerting
them that someone is spoofing their address).
