The following standardization activity would be relevant to Section 7.1 of the PAR:
Standardization Body: Ecma International (http://www.ecma-international.org/memento/TC48-TG1.htm)
Scope: Wireless communications using Television White Spaces (TVWS).
Programme of work:
1. To develop and maintain Standards and Technical Reports for TVWS wireless communication systems, including:
o Physical Layer (RF and Baseband);
o MAC layer (Media Access Control);
o Protocol and mechanisms for coexistence.
2. To cooperate and liaise with other organizations and standardization bodies.
