[802SEC] IEEE P802.3.1 (IEEE 802.3.1b) to RevCom

Hi George,

You are correct, there was an error in the title of my original email to James, my apologies. My request was regarding the IEEE P802.3.1 (IEEE 802.3.1b) Standard for Ethernet Structure of Management Information version 2 (SMIv2) Data Model Definitions revision project.

Not sure what the 2 letter amendment is for 802.3.1b is, but it’s not P802.3dd.  I chaired that project, it was maintenance on clause 104….

It is my view based on the complete RevCom package, there is a reasonable expectation that the submittal will be approved by the IEEE 802 LMSC before the RevCom meeting.

Please submit the package to RevCom.
