IEEE 802.16's Network Management Task Group: 802.16g Project

IEEE 802.16's Network Management Task Group (NetMan) was chartered to develop a series of standards as amendments to IEEE Standard 802.16.

This page documents the activities of the Task Group in developing IEEE 802.16g.

IEEE Std 802.16g-2007 ("Amendment to IEEE Standard for Local and Metropolitan Area Networks - Part 16: Air Interface for Fixed and Mobile Broadband Wireless Access Systems - Amendment 3: Management Plane Procedures and Services") was approved by the IEEE-SA Standards Board on 27 September 2007 as an amendment to IEEE Std 802.16. It was published on 31 December 2007.
